"I was already interviewed several times and know what they want to hear. However, during the last recruitment process I was participating, I was surprised by not only being asked about data from my CV, but also about specific cases, or issues, related to my experience: which type of clients I dealt with, what type of problems I was confronted to and how I solved them, why it was important for me. The person who interviewed me was really digging deep in my experience. In addition, I was asked to prepare a real business case and to present it to the top management during the final interview. I have to admit that the recruitment process was really tough, but professional and gave to me the feeling that they were really interested to understand if my experience and person would match with their client’s need and culture."

I want to deal with a Firm which gives me a clear and deep understanding of the position and its potential, the organization and its strategy and culture. If instead, I am asked to fill some form summarizing my experience, pass some psychological tests, and answer standard question about my CV, I get the feeling that the Client is only looking for a person to fill a position, and I want to get more than this."
"I believe that a Recruitment Agency, or an Executive Search firm, represents the Client they work for. It is the same when we select our Marketing Agency. When I am contacted by one of them, I like to deal with a professional who understands who I am and what may be interesting for me, but also who treats me as a senior executive. If I do not like their approach, or the way I am kept informed of the process, I will question the quality of their client and, by consequence, of a potential future employer. Sometimes I am surprised by the little number of employers who really cares about these aspects, however spend so much money on their own marketing and PR."
