How is the hiring market now, hot or not?

In the first half of 2018, there were a total of 304 senior management changes according to Anderson Willinger, executive search, observations.

165 transfers and 139 promotions.

55 changes on CEO positions.

97 changes in Top Management members positions – board.

152 changes in Senior Management positions

The first half of 2018 was more active than the first half of 2017 by 48.5%.

Even though it may appear that CEOs hiring market is active, Anderson Willinger, executive search experts, observed, that many of them are leaving for smaller companies outside of the corporate world. Thus, in general, 2/3 of the observed changes concern smaller to medium-sized companies.

The total number of managerial changes declined steadily in individual months. In January 2018 there were more than 100 changes, but in June there were only 34.

Transfers and internal promotions are well balanced. In the first half of the year, transfers were only 7 percent more than internal promotions from total numbers.

As part of the changes in CEO positions in the first half of 2018, these positions were occupied by 80% of Czechs and by 20% by persons of different nationality.

Median length of stay in CEO position is 30.5 months, member of the board is 36.5 months. Which is a shorter period than in previous years.
