It is our pleasure to follow up on our last half-year review and share with you our exclusive study and an overview of market trends in 2022 as well as significant TOP management changes of Q3.

What are the main market and hiring trends of 2022? Do companies hire more or less? For which type of expert role has the tenure shortened the most and what are the TOP management changes of Q3 that you should know about?

Let us present several interesting observations from 2022 and Q3:

  • In 2022, there was by 14 % more hiring at the senior, executive and top management level in Q1 and Q2 than in 2021. In contrast, hiring in the Q3 dropped by 47% compared to the same period last year.

  • In 2022, the hiring of Executive Director roles increased significantly. It is 54 % out of all top/senior level management changes, compared to 34% last year.

  • In 2022, the tenure of the role has shortened. The length of the previous role is on average 3 months shorter than it was in 2021.

  • The career of managers in 2022 no longer grows mainly vertically. A much frequent managerial change is a horizontal transition.
